People often use different techniques in finding their own unique domain name for their online business; some people use keyword tools, or some come up with their own ideas, then check to see what’s available at various domain names registrars.
While there is nothing wrong with using these various methods, it can sometimes be a little time consuming and frustrating if you’re not finding just exactly what you want.
Depending on the kind of domain name you’re looking for, using a keyword tool, is not exactly a bad idea, especially if you are looking for a keyword rich domain name. Then again, it all depends on the keyword tool you are using, since all keyword tools aren’t made equal.
My personal favorite keyword tool to use for generating keyword rich domain names, is Jaaxy. With Jaaxy, I get to see all of the available options for my selected domain name. As an example, I selected “I Work at Home” which I entered in the search bar. Let’s check out the results.
My initial keyword “I Work From Home” has a dot net available and there are other options for which the “dot com” “dot net” and “dot org” are available.
But what Jaaxy is also telling me, is that my chosen keyword is oversubscribed (as indicated by the red light in the KQI column) and it’s not keyword rich (no great traffic to be had). So even though the dot net is available, it’s not a wise decision for me to purchase that domain name.
There are three keyword rich domain names popping up from this search. However, the “dot com” isn’t available for any of them either. Let’s say I was interested on the “Online Work From Home” as a possible domain name. When I click on the “Find More” option in Jaaxy, I get the following information:
Jaaxy has done the work for me and has shown me two possible options for this particular domain name if I wanted to go this route.
Simple and easy. If I don’t want any of these options, all I do is enter other keywords in the Jaaxy search bar to find another possible keyword rich domain name option.
My second favorite domain name generator tool is Panabee.com. If you’re looking for a brandable domain name, then Panabee is a great tool that would also generate ideas for you. The reason why I like Panabee above the others, is because it is simple and easy to use.
How does Panabee work?
You simply put in your two words in the search bar, and Panabee generates all the possible options for your two words. I used three words “Fun Stuff Kids.” Check out the snap shot below.
The broken red hearts indicate that the domain name is already taken but you can still check out the options that are available. The blue hearts indicate the variations that are available, and the price.
You can even make your domain name purchase one time with Godaddy if you wanted to. My preferred domain register is Namecheap; there is no price variation and no surprises and I’ve had a great experience so far.
Overall, Panabee.com has a user friendly layout, and very easy to navigate and you get endless variations and possibilities of a unique domain name.
So if you want to avoid wasting your time using a trial error technique to find your domain name, then Jaaxy and Panabee.com are two great tools for you to use to do this. You can get thirty free searches with Jaaxy and Panabee.com is absolutely free to use.
Jaaxy and Panabee are two easy and very effective tools you can use to avoid wasting your precious and generate that unique domain name that you desire.
